Equine claims

Claims and compliance, handled in house.

We maintain a full back office for processing claims and compliance. The team has handled equine losses across every major US discipline and across our international transit business.

First notice of loss

Call either handler directly.

For first notice of loss, or for any claims question, contact either of our equine claims handlers directly. Both have decades of experience in the equine market and can guide you through the process from the first call.

What you will need

Three documents decide how fast a claim runs.

  • The post mortem report
  • Veterinary records leading up to the loss
  • The original policy and schedule

For a mortality claim, this is the documentation that most often slows things down if it is not gathered early. The sooner those are collected, the cleaner the claim runs.
